Floe
"The Floe bed was inspired by ephemeral and geometrical forms present in nature. Set at various angles, the upholstered elements of the design create a visual composition with a rhythm and distinctiveness that lends it a bold shape and function. Versions with three mattress widths are on offer. The headboard is available in two forms: the basic, narrower one and the extended version with additional moving wings, which allow for adjusting the angles of the sides. A very simple material is used to connect the headboard with the sides – a vertical band of thick saddle leather sourced from a local tannery. Its natural elasticity enables easy adjustment of the angles of the sides, which can lend the composition of the bed a more open or more intimate character."

A version with a low headboard is available for those on the lookout for a more horizontal and tranquil effect.
Designed in the headboard, the recesses created by the converging sides of the triangular elements cut at different angles make it possible to read and relax in a sitting position, with the back comfortably supported by the softly profiled backrest.
The varied angles of the triangular surfaces, the properties and patterns of soft upholstery fabrics and the rhythmical divisions of the headboard create a dynamic, optical light and shadow play. The elaborate sculptural shape of Floe’s headboard introduces an extra decorative feature to the interior. The bed can be placed against a wall or left free-standing. The space behind the expanded headboard can be used to arrange a wardrobe space or a workplace. Floe is available in three mattress widths: 160, 180 and 200 cm.
