Genesis and inspirations
The new variant with a high and extremely comfortable backrest retains all the outstanding qualities of the low backrest model: a variety of kinds of fabric and leather to choose from for the rear and the inner part, as well as a selection of upholstery styles and bases. Owing to two backrest heights and a well-considered coherence of forms, the Oyster collection, now complete with the high backrest armchair, offers broader possibilities of interior design and arrangement. Individual pieces perfectly complement each other in terms of their function and role in the interior.
The slender and streamlined form of the version with a soft cushion on the seat emanates a more elegant, minimalist air, whereas the cosy and soft model with loose upholstery lends the interior a sense of refinement and character.
Proper backrest height guarantees comfortable support for the head. The optional tilt mechanism allows for relaxing in two ways: with the head resting comfortably slightly tilted backwards or while sitting in a more formal position. Additionally, swivel base versions are equipped with memory return as standard. The collection includes a footstool, which also matches the low backrest armchair versions, and is available in both upholstery styles.
Just like the low backrest Oyster, Oyster Lounge comes in two versions of upholstery and three versions of the base: tubular steel base available in any colour from the RAL palette and the Sahara sand structure finishing collection; 4-pointed steel base with memory return swivel, available in any colour from the RAL palette, the Sahara collection, and in bright chromium; 5-pointed moulded swivel base of polished aluminium, available in high gloss and any colour from the RAL palette and the Sahara collection The footstool comes in two upholstery versions, with a tubular steel base or a 4-pointed memory return swivel base; it is not available with a 5-pointed polished aluminium base.
