Genesis and inspirations
With an almost purist approach to design, it features an orderly arrangement and clearly defined lines, asymmetry and symmetry, and harmonious divisions of the seat and backrest cushions. Ingenious modularity allows architects and users to tap into Grid’s potential for adaptation to various kinds of spaces, room sizes, ways of relaxing on the sofa.
A large number of module lengths and proportions allows for innovative and versatile compositions. Additional components include tables and side tables, corner sections, open elements, chaise lounges and poufs, ready to accompany the sofa and other furnishings. With its carefully balanced proportions, this model can become the centrepiece of a room and divide the space while revealing the rear of the sofa.
The optimized production process results in a versatile modularity that enables effortless combinations and offers almost unlimited possibilities of matching various sizes, adding functions and modifying the look of the final setting. Customisation goes even further and includes accessories, such as veneered tables and shelves, two types of legs, which alter the appearance of the product. Grid comes with two depths of the seat. Grid Regular is compact and more suitable for smaller spaces and offices, whereas Grid Bold is complete with lounge-depth spacious seating cushions.
Grid’s discreet design makes it ideal for various spaces, emphasising its comfort, top quality and perfect finishings. The sofa’s legs are available in two heights, two depths and a large variety of connectable modules. The armrests are available in two widths. The filling can be natural, highlighting a luxurious and sensual feeling, or synthetic, animal-friendly, for a more practical and tidier look in office spaces.
Each sofa is accompanied by backrest cushions, but a range of additional decorative cushions in various sizes are available to personalise the comfort. The legs come in two shapes. The “V” shape adds lightness to the composition, while the beam shape offers a more solid look. They are available in a variety of colours from the RAL palette as well as Comforty’s Sahara collection of structural coatings. Wooden tables are available in colours from Comforty’s veneer collection and with oak veneer in the RAL palette colours.
