Pesto
"The idea behind the Pesto design was to create comfortable sofas, chaise longues and pouffes that would stand out with their elegance, modern low-key line and functionality, allowing for an unconstrained composition of relaxation zones in a variety of interiors, both modern and more classic ones. – Tomasz Augustyniak "

Genesis and inspirations
The backrest line morphing smoothly into the base and the cushions create a harmonious configuration of solids. The whole design hovers on characteristic legs, either wooden or steel. Both wood and steel discreetly influence the ultimate character of this product, adding a desired flavour to the interior.
The sofa is available in two variants: Pesto and Pesto Più. Pesto’s armrests are integrated with the base, which results in a more classic form, whereas the geometrical form of Pesto Più’s armrests lends the sofa a contemporary appeal.
Its neutral character is a major asset of this product, which perfectly matches every interior decoration style. Only the choice of the legs may easily set a more distinctive reference to the surroundings. Pesto is available in two depths of seat. All sofas and corner configurations may become more of leisure furniture in character and extra backrest cushions allow for adjusting the depth to individual needs.
The seat is made of high-resilience foam and Bonell brand elastic vertical springs. Known from mattresses, this technology of comfort guarantees softness and resilience for many years.
Additional backrest cushions are filled with down and therefore adapt to the shape of the body.
Pesto is an unobtrusive design, whose functionality and ease of arrangement prevail over decorativeness; an item of furniture with an unimposing style. The choice of wooden legs, running along or across the piece, can lend it a more powerful character. Oak legs are available in options from Comforty’s solid wood palette. Discreet and timeless, steel legs can be ordered in two shades of chrome or in any colour from the RAL palette.
